Job summary

DCG Poland is seeking an SQL Server Migration Specialist to lead migrations of SQL Server databases and applications. You will coordinate end-to-end migration lifecycles across applications, infrastructure, and vendor teams, provisioning standalone SQL Server instances in resilient environments.

You will implement Always On AG clusters and design secure, stable, and efficient migration processes while supporting onboarding to strategic database platforms and aligning timelines with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Must have strong experience administering Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2019/2022).
• Hands-on experience with high availability solutions based on SQL Server Always On AGs.
• Experience with Windows Server Failover Clustering in DB environments.
• Experience designing backup and recovery strategies for SQL Server.
• Ability to diagnose and improve SQL Server performance in complex environments.
• Experience coordinating complex migrations with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute migrations of SQL Server databases and applications to target platforms.
• Coordinate end-to-end migration lifecycle across application, infrastructure, vendor, and business teams.
• Provision standalone SQL Server instances in resilient environments (Hotel solution).
• Implement and manage SQL Server Always On Availability Group clusters.
• Ensure secure, stable, and efficient migration processes.
• Support onboarding to strategic database platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align migration activities and timelines.
