Job summary

State of Arizona - AZMD seeks a SQL Developer for a 4-month contract-to-hire, onsite in Phoenix for four months and then remote. You will work on SQL Server, SSMS, ASP.NET, C#, and Azure database services to deliver reliable data solutions.

You must have 3-5 years of SQL Server experience, strong SQL queries and stored procedures, and the ability to design and implement reports with SSRS. You will collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to meet technical and functional requirements.

Qualifications

Position Description

SQL Server, SQL, SSMS, ASP.net, C#, Visual Studio , Ability to write stored procedures, queries, generate SSRS reports, Azure - Database , Storage, GitHub and App services.

3-5 years experience working in SQL

Design and develop web applications to meet functional and technical designs following best practices and development standards and guidelines.

• Supports production systems; analyzes and resolves production problems in a timely manner; resolves end-user service requests as assigned.
• Analyzes, debugs, and resolves defects in applications; analyzes and resolves development issues in a timely manner; proactively solves complex problems.
• Fixes and develops changes to applications to meet functional and technical designs following best practices and development standards and guidelines.
• Completes unit and system test application changes to ensure quality of work.
• Prepares technical documentation on application specifications and creates deliverables according to the Software Development Lifecycle, such as functional and technical specifications, use cases, test cases, and system documentation.
• Engages with business analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements, and contributes to completion of functional specifications.
