Qualifications

Job Description

• Provide on-call support and participate in applying service packs and hotfixes to SQL Server environments.
• Remediate SQL Server audit reports and perform database refreshes from production to development and test environments.
• Monitor server performance using tools like SQL Profiler, Extended Events, Performance Monitor, and Configuration Monitor. Knowledge of clustering and high-availability is a plus.
• Install and configure new SQL Server instances. Troubleshoot CPU, memory, and I/O resource contention issues.
• Work across SQL versions including 2000, 2008, 2008 R2, 2012.
• Have basic knowledge of ITIL change management standards, processes, and procedures.
• Be a team player, motivated to learn new skills, and follow projects through end-to-end.
• Participate in on-call rotations for urgent issues.
• Maintain strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Be familiar with Remedy ticketing system.
• Additional requirements: drug test and background check; limited travel may be required.
