Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a seasoned database professional in the United States to verify and support databases for network tools and solutions. You will manage routine operations, ensure reliable performance, and contribute to architecture, design, and security of databases.

Responsibilities include creating SQL reporting queries, troubleshooting issues, tuning performance, and reviewing database designs.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of related work experience.
• 10+ years of experience in writing and tuning SQL queries.

Job description

Provides database support by verifying databases associated with network tools and solutions function as required. Responsible for managing the routine operations and maintenance of databases and ensuring their reliable and efficient performance. Focuses on establishing the architecture, design, and security of various databases.

• Develop SQL reporting queries.

• Troubleshoot database issues.

• Database performance tuning.

• SQL statement tuning.

• Review and Implement Database design changes.

• Coding (procedures, functions, packages, triggers, etc.).

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study.

• Final DoD Secret Security Clearance

• 5-10 years of related work experience.

Other Job Specific Skills

• 10+ years or more experience in writing and tuning SQL queries.

• 10+ years or more experience designing and implementing database structures.

• 10+ years or more of SQL coding / scripting experience.

• Able to work flexible schedule/weekends if needed.

• Experience with SQL (Structured Query Language).

• Experience in a large scale Federal IT Program.

• Experience with SAFe Agile delivery framework.

Compensation Ranges

Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience. The compensation displayed for this role is a general guideline based on these factors and is unique to each role. Monetary compensation is one component of ASM's overall compensation and benefits package for employees.
