Job summary

AGS in Las Vegas seeks an SQA Engineer II to plan, author, and execute test plans for table games software, APIs, and hardware integrations. The role emphasizes AI-assisted test generation and future migration to a formal test case management platform.

You will work with cross-functional teams, leverage Jira/Confluence, and contribute to release readiness and regulatory documentation. This position is based in Las Vegas.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of software quality assurance experience with ownership of test plans.
• Strong experience writing detailed, reproducible test cases from requirements and design.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test plans and test cases for table progressive products and card shuffler products.
• Own functional, regression, integration, and system level testing across development and release cycles.
• Validate backend services, APIs, jackpot and meter logic, and third party integrations across system boundaries.
• Perform system level validation of shuffler products, covering firmware behavior and host communication.
• Write and maintain automated tests within established automation frameworks at API and UI levels.
• Use AI tooling to generate, expand, and maintain test cases and scripts, reviewing all output before it enters the test suite.
• Take part in evaluating and migrating to a test case management platform; stand it up and transfer coverage from spreadsheets.
• Maintain the test case repository with versioning and traceability to requirements.
• Execute guided test runs from the platform and produce test run reports for stakeholders.
• Maintain test plans and quality documentation in Confluence; track defects in Jira.
• Reproduce and document defects in Jira with clear steps and evidence; verify fixes.
• Define and track quality metrics like coverage, pass rate, and defect density.
• Produce test docs for regulatory submissions as needed.
• Participate in requirement and design reviews to improve testability.
• Support release readiness decisions with evidence-based quality assessments.
