Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking an Associate Cardiovascular Special Proc Technologist to work on-site with the Cardiovascular team, supporting diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease and assisting in cath lab procedures.

This full-time day shift role offers a sign-on bonus, inpatient differential, referral bonus eligibility, and opportunities to advance through the Cardiovascular Special Proc Technologist ladder.

Strong collaboration with cardiologists and imaging staff is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and RCIS training certification.
• Experience: no experience required for entry levels; 1+ years for senior levels.
• Certification: ARRT (R) or RCIS; Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Work alongside cardiologists to diagnose and treat coronary artery disease.
• Assist in Mercy Cath Lab procedures and imaging during interventions.

The Special Procedure Tech will work alongside cardiologists to diagnose and treat coronary artery disease such as heart attacks and minimally invasive heart valve procedures.

Position Details

• Associate Cardiovascular (SPT)
• On-Site
• Full Time -Days
• Schedule

Schedule

• Monday -Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm (8-hour shifts, 5 days per week)
• Call required for Mercy Cath Lab.
• Average call for the Mercy Cath lab is approx. 7 shifts - 1 weekend per month, and one night per week.

$10,000 Sign on Bonus Incentive included!!

Position will include Inpatient Differential!!

Associate Cardiovascular Special Proc Technologist

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours or completion of RCIS training certification
• Experience: no experience required.
• Certification: ARRT (R) or RCIS; Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.

Cardiovascular Special Proc Technologist

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours or completion of RCIS training certification.
• Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Certification: ARRT (R) or RCIS; Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.

Advanced Cardiovascular Special Proc Technologist

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours or completion of RCIS training certification.
• Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Certification: ARRT (R) or RCIS; Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.

Senior Cardiovascular Special Proc Technologist

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours or completion of RCIS training certification.
• Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Certification: ARRT (R) and one advanced registry (CI or VI) or RCIS or ARRT (R) and 5 years relevant experience; Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
