Job summary

ODYSSEIA Inc. is seeking drivers for flexible local, regional, and over-the-road routes across the United States and Canada. Vans must be 2016 or newer, with 120 x 50 x 50 cargo space, and no decals.

You will review each load in the ODYSSEIA app, select opportunities that fit your schedule, and operate without forced dispatch. Detention pay and layover pay are offered, with weekly payments. Tracking apps (MacroPoint and Trucker Tools) must be installed.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL required
• Clean driving record
• Experience with van/o/o truck preferred
• Ability to meet cargo space and vehicle requirements
• Accepts app-based dispatch and uses MacroPoint and Trucker Tools

Responsibilities

• Review load details before acceptance: pickup/delivery locations, mileage, weight, rate, and other information.
• Operate across Local, Regional, and OTR routes within US and Canada.
• Communicate with dispatch via app and adhere to load instructions.
• Maintain no-touch freight where possible and comply with load-specific requirements.

All available loads are offered directly through our easy-to-use app. You can review all the load details before accepting, including pickup and delivery locations, mileage, weight, rate, and other important information.

Driver & Equipment Requirements:

• Vehicle: 2016 or newer Cargo Van or Sprinter Van. Rental vehicles are not accepted.
• Cargo Space: Minimum 120" × 50" × 50" (L × W × H).
• Box Trucks: 12-14 ft, under 10,000 lbs GVW.
• Driving Experience: At least 1 year.
• Driving Record: Must be provided.
• Vehicle Appearance: No decals, stickers, or company logos on the van.
• Tracking Apps: Must install and use MacroPoint and Trucker Tools.
• Operating Authority: No separate MC authority required.
• Insurance:

• Commercial Auto Liability: $1,000,000
• Motor Truck Cargo Insurance: $100,000, with a maximum deductible of $1,000.

• Local Loads: $1.20 per loaded mile.
• Long-Haul Loads: $0.90-$1.00 per loaded mile, depending on distance and lane.
• Nationwide & Canada-Wide Opportunities: Freight across the United States and Canada, subject to route and load availability.
• Flexible Load Options: Local, regional, and over-the-road (OTR) routes.
• App-Based Dispatch: All loads are offered and managed through our app.
• No Forced Dispatch: Accept the loads that work for you.
• No-Touch Freight: No loading or unloading required by the driver, subject to load-specific requirements.
• Flexible Schedule: Choose opportunities that fit your availability.
• Detention Pay: $30 per hour.
• Layover Pay: $150 per night.
• Non-Exclusive Agreement: Work with ODYSSEIA Inc. without an exclusive commitment.
• Payments are made weekly, every Thursday and Friday.
