Job summary

VSC Fire & Security in Virginia Beach, VA, is seeking a Sprinkler Service Technician with 2–3 years of sprinkler installation experience. You will install, modify, test and service sprinkler systems per design plans, document changes, and oversee on-site work while representing the company on job sites.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience in installation of sprinkler systems.
• Proficient in following written and verbal instructions, with exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to establish productivity onsite and set goals for employees to meet deadlines.
• Competent in reading plans, documents, meters, and to discern colors for safety signage.
• Reliable transportation and a valid State Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, test and service sprinkler systems.
• Follow design plans for installation jobs and communicate any design, perform service and deficiency jobs, and communicate and document any changes.
• Oversee day-to-day work of other employees assigned to the job and act as company representative on site.
• Maintain proper Risk Management and Safety procedures on all job sites per VSC policies.
