Job summary

VSC Fire & Security in Raleigh, North Carolina is seeking a Sprinkler Service Technician to install, test, and service sprinkler systems. The role requires reading plans, following design specifications, and coordinating on-site work with a team, while maintaining safety and quality on every project.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience in installation of sprinkler systems.
• Proficient in following written and verbal instructions, with exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to establish productivity onsite and set goals for employees to meet deadlines.
• Competent in reading plans, documents, meters, and to discern colors for safety signage.
• Desirable experience in construction; Texas candidates: RME-I and BPAT a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, test and service sprinkler systems.
• Follow design plans for installation jobs and communicate any design, perform service and deficiency jobs, and document changes.
• Oversee day-to-day work of other employees on the job site and represent the company on site.
• Maintain proper Risk Management and Safety procedures on all job sites per company policies.
