The Sprinkler Service Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of sprinkler and fire protection service operations, as well as running small to medium size projects. This includes customer coordination, estimation, scheduling, walk-throughs, supervision of field staff, and ensuring successful delivery of service and project work. The role emphasizes operational efficiency, safety, adherence to high-quality standards, and customer satisfaction, while encouraging ongoing professional development and staying up to date with industry innovations.

Clearance/Citizen Type: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements including U.S. citizenship for access to classified information. (Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance required.)

Responsibilities
  • Oversee sprinkler service operations including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
  • Manage small to medium size sprinkler and fire protection projects from planning through completion.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with NFPA codes, local regulations, and company standards.
  • Uphold a high level of quality in all work performed.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, maintaining strong relationships and addressing concerns.
  • Conduct site walk-throughs with clients to evaluate needs and present solutions.
  • Prepare and present accurate service proposals and project estimates.
  • Direct, schedule, and support sprinkler service technicians and project crews.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Ensure field staff have the proper training, resources, and adhere to safety policies.
  • Review customer requirements and develop cost estimates for service and project work.
  • Forecast labor, equipment, and material needs.
  • Support business development by assisting with bids and proposals.
  • Develop and maintain efficient service and project schedules.
  • Coordinate with procurement and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Monitor resource utilization and adjust schedules to maximize productivity.
  • Demonstrate strong multitasking skills by managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ensure all work is performed to company and regulatory standards.
  • Promote a culture of safety and enforce company safety policies.
  • Address and resolve any quality or safety issues promptly.
  • Pursue relevant industry certifications and encourage continuous professional development.
  • Stay interested in and informed about new industry technologies, standards, and best practices to keep the company competitive.
  • Maintain accurate records of service work and projects.
  • Report on KPIs such as schedule adherence, budget performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide regular updates to company leadership on operational performance.
Qualifications

Education & Experience Required:

  • High School Diploma / GED with 10+ years of experience OR
  • Associate’s degree with 8+ years of experience OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of experience.

Certification

NICET in Inspection and Testing of Water‑Based Systems Level II (Preferred)
