Job summary

YDU JC Air Cond & Ref Inc.- Dubai is looking for a dedicated technician to perform inspections and maintenance of Wet, Dry, Pre-Action, and Deluge Sprinkler systems. The role involves identifying deficiencies and communicating findings effectively.

A high school diploma, NICET Level II certification, and three years of relevant experience are essential. The compensation ranges from $14 to $28.84 per hour with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Three years field experience with Wet, Dry, Pre-Action, and Deluge Sprinkler systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to stand or climb stairs and ladders for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, testing, and maintenance of sprinkler systems in accordance with regulations.
• Document deficiencies found during inspections and communicate findings.
• Pass a pre-employment security, drug, and background check.

Job description

Perform inspection, testing, and maintenance/repair of Wet, Dry, Pre-Action, and Deluge Sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA and state health department regulations. Accurately discern and document deficiencies found during inspections and communicate findings with employees, employers, customers, and authorities having jurisdiction both in writing and verbally.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• NICET Level II certification.
• Three years field experience with Wet, Dry, Pre-Action, and Deluge Sprinkler systems.
• Functional knowledge of Wet and Dry Sprinkler Systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to stand or climb stairs and ladders for extended periods.
• Ability to lift a minimum of forty (40) pounds without assistance.
• Excellent "Customer Service Skills".
• Good written and oral communication skills and strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to pass a pre‑employment security, drug, and background check.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of fire pumps, backflows, and standpipes.
• NC Sprinkler License.

Compensation & Benefits
