How Will You Contribute

Ahern is seeking qualified applicants for the Sprinkler Fitter Apprenticeship program to work within the Appleton, WI, and Green Bay, WI areas. This is a 5-year apprenticeship program working side-by-side with a journeymen sprinkler fitter installing automatic fire protection systems. Your employment relationship will be governed by a collective bargaining agreement. Apprentices will complete on-the-job training and 5 years of corresponding coursework toward becoming a Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter. Upon completion of the apprenticeship program, Journeymen earn over double the apprentice hourly rate!

What You Need To Qualify

Qualified candidates must be at least 18 years old, have a High School Diploma or equivalent, have a clean driving record to operate company vehicles, be able to travel for the position, and pass an appropriate drug screen and physical (the job entails a great deal of lifting and climbing). Successful candidates must be self-starters, have a strong mechanical background, have a good working and learning attitude, and be able to work in a fast-paced construction environment (both in and outdoors).

Screening Requirements: Drug screen, background check, physical and reference checks.
