Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Completion of corporate or individual taxation class.
• Actively pursuing credits to sit for the CPA exam.
• Strong communication, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
• Strong computer skills, especially proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on tax-related experience.
• Participate in January Intern Training to build technical skills.
• Receive on-the-job training and work with clients; apply classroom learning.
• Work directly with staff—from Associates to Partners—to learn from them.
• Prepare individual and business income tax returns.
• Conduct tax research and convey information to your supervisor.
• Assist in preparing timely and accurate financial statements for decision-making.
• Demonstrate work ethic, knowledge, and interest in joining Hawkins Ash CPAs full-time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
