Job summary

St. Rose High School in Belmar, NJ seeks a dynamic Head Boys Lacrosse Coach to lead the lacrosse program for the 2025-2026 spring season. The role emphasizes skill development, strategic instruction, and fostering sportsmanship, self-discipline, and confidence in student‑athletes.

The Head Coach will coordinate with the Athletic Director and staff to implement a competitive program, ensure safety, and travel logistics. CPR/First Aid certification and NFHS compliance are required for selection.

Qualifications

Head coaching experience at high school level preferred, but not required.
Minimum 3 years of high school coaching experience preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
Proficiency with technology, social media, and marketing is a plus.

Responsibilities

Advise, coordinate, and support a staff of assistant coaches with the Athletic Director.
Instruct athletes in fundamentals, strategies, and physical training.
Manage program logistics and travel as needed.
Demonstrate good judgment and uphold the school’s educational philosophy.
Maintain positive and inclusive team culture.
Ensure compliance with school, district, and NFHS/NJSIAA regulations.
