Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Spring Inspector in Jefferson City, TN. The role operates on 2nd shift from 3pm to 11:30pm and pays $16.03 per hour. You will read instructions, inspect springs and components, and document quality findings in a fast-paced manufacturing setup.

Responsibilities include using gauges, identifying defects, maintaining records, and ensuring safety and quality procedures are followed. This position offers growth opportunities within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Read work instructions and quality standards.
• Basic documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Quality inspection, manufacturing, or production experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic required.
• Experience using gauges and inspection tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Catch springs as they exit production machines and place them into trays according to specifications.
• Inspect springs and components for quality, accuracy, and workmanship.
• Examine products for cracks, incomplete welds, dimensional issues, and other defects.
• Compare products against visual standards and quality requirements.
• Use go/no-go gauges and inspection tools to verify dimensions and specifications.
• Identify, separate, and document non-conforming products.
• Notify supervisors of quality concerns or production issues.
• Verify lot dates and maintain accurate quality records and inspection documentation.
• Pack, label, and prepare inspected products as required.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures.
