Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Spring Co-Op in Immune Regulation to work with the Oncology Research team at the Ridgefield, CT facility. You will collaborate on in vitro cancer immunology experiments, developing functional immune suppression assays that mimic the tumor microenvironment to evaluate novel immunomodulatory therapies.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Master’s or Ph.D. degree student in good academic standing.
• Enrollment at an accredited college or university for duration of the co-op is required.
• GPA 3.0 (last completed quarter/semester) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine tumor tissue dissociation protocols.
• Develop tumor microenvironment-mimetic immune suppression assays.
• Establish and optimize tumor cell killing assays.
