Job summary

The Chemours Company is seeking a Chemical Engineering Intern to join the Ore Technology team in Newark, DE for a Spring 2027 internship. You will work under guidance from scientists and principal investigators on process development and optimization in a lab environment.

You will gain hands-on experience with lab-scale unit operations, data analysis, and collaboration across engineers and chemists to advance projects and ensure safety and quality in processes.

Qualifications

• Enrollment as a junior or above at an accredited college or university.
• Undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering or similar fields.
• 3.0 GPA or above preferred.
• Experience with reaction engineering, thermodynamics, titration, filtration, and distillation.
• Hands-on experience building laboratory setups.

Responsibilities

• Work with experienced R&D professionals on process technology projects.
• Participate in process safety management activities and reviews.
• Conduct lab work including design, construction, operation and optimization of lab-scale unit operations.
