Job summary

Aspen High School, part of Aspen School District, Aspen, Colorado, is seeking a Boys Lacrosse Assistant Coach for the 2026-27 spring season. This is a one-season, part-time role reporting to the Athletic Director and Head Coach, with a stipend compensation after the season and duties across practices, games, and coaching clinics.

The position requires CHSAA/State Department coaching eligibility, a background check, and a commitment to education-based athletics, safety, and team ethics.

Qualifications

• Must meet CHSAA and/or State Department of Education coaching requirements.
• Experience playing and coaching in an Education Based athletic program preferred.
• Must successfully complete district employee paperwork and background check.

Responsibilities

• Adopt and implement the athletic philosophy of Aspen High School.
• Follow school, conference and CHSAA rules and regulations.
• Be organized, prepared, punctual and manage resources, deadlines and appearances.
• Demonstrate integrity, leadership, and teamwork; strong communication and attention to detail.
