Job summary

Jackson Thornton is offering a spring 2028 internship designed to attract and train accounting students who demonstrate academic excellence and alignment with the firm’s values. Interns gain real-world experience through hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to diverse projects, with a Spring 2028 schedule.

Internship locations include Montgomery, Birmingham, Dothan, and Auburn, AL, with the opportunity for optional extensions for exceptional interns.

Qualifications

• Actively seeking or have completed an accounting undergraduate or Masters degree.
• Completed Intermediate Accounting I & II at time of internship.
• Desire to obtain the CPA license.
• Available to work 30-40 hours per week in office.
• Authorized to work in the United States after graduation.

Responsibilities

• Gain real-world accounting experience through hands-on training.
• Mentorship and exposure to a wide range of projects within the firm.
