Job summary

SVA is looking for an Accounting Intern to join our Madison, WI location for Spring 2028. This paid internship provides hands-on experience in tax, audit/assurance and MAS, with duties similar to an entry-level staff accountant and integration into the SVA team.

Interns receive comprehensive training, are paired with a People Leader and a Buddy, and have opportunities to network and potentially transition to full-time roles within SVA.

Qualifications

• Education: A minimum of 3 years college experience preferred, pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Tax Work: prepare tax returns and support workpapers.
• Assist with Audit and Assurance Work: complete audits, reviews, and compilations; prepare simple financial statements.
• Assist in Advisory Work: prepare tax projections and financial reports; gain experience in accounting software and Excel tasks.
