McKenney's Inc is seeking a Co-op in Atlanta to gain hands-on experience across estimating, project management, CAD drafting, and field support. You will rotate through structured assignments from Spring 2027, Fall 2027, and Summer 2028 while learning ASHRAE and NEBB standards and contributing to reports, proposals, and field verifications.
You will develop skills in CAD, budgeting, and documentation, while collaborating with project managers, field staff, and drafting teams.
As a Co-op, you will be part of the team from day one and given training and tasks that are important and impactful to our projects' success.You will gain an understanding oftheimportance of TAB in the construction industry and energy efficiency of building systems.
Success in this role depends on the Co-op's initiative and teamwork skills.A successfulCo-op willgain practical experience in estimating project costs, creating budgets, and applying key industry standards such as ASHRAE and NEBB.

AssistTABproject managementwith estimates,RFIs,andproject quotes and proposals.
Assistinthecreation ofproject documentation-including reportsandtest forms.
Develop or revise CAD drawings and schematics to supportaccuratefield execution.
Analyze field data for performance verification.
Properlymaintainopportunities in Salesforce.
Communicate directly with customers to ensure proposals are received on time.
Read and interpret project mechanical drawings, specifications, and equipment performance data todetermineproper balancing techniques and project management approaches.
Participate in regularjobsite visits and ensure feedback is provided to team members and supervisors.
Education and Experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Students must be enrolled in aCo-op program at an accredited engineering school majoring inConstruction Management,Mechanical, IndustrialEngineering, orrelated major.
Candidates must be able to completeat least three full-timeCoop rotations prior to graduation.
Must have basic PC experience in Windows environments, working knowledge ofWord,Excel, Web-enabled applications, and database software

Ability to use time productively.
Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Maintaina strongattention to detail.
Effective verbal and written communication across multidisciplinary teams (e.g., Project Managers, field staff, drafting).
Strong reasoning, math, science, and technical skills.
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office environment.
No or limited exposure to physical risk; occasional jobsite visitsmayrequire climbingpermanent and temporary stairs/ladders, passenger use of hoists,and navigatingactiveconstructionareas.
Light physical effort handling average weight objects up to 50 pounds may berequiredoccasionally.
