Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities.
• Organize and review client-provided financial information, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Use tax software to input data, calculate liabilities, deductions, and credits.
• Conduct tax research to interpret and apply laws and guidelines.
• Analyze financial statements to identify tax-saving opportunities and compliance issues.
• Assist in preparing tax projections to guide client decisions.
• Communicate with clients to gather information and explain tax concepts clearly.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide timely updates and recommendations.
• Maintain organized tax files and track changes in tax laws.
