Job summary

Cherry Bekaert in Virginia Beach, VA invites juniors and seniors in accounting programs to join our Tax Internship. You will work under multiple supervisors on client engagements, apply accounting knowledge with Firm technology, shadow tax professionals, and participate in team training.

Eligible students are within two years of graduation and GPA is optional. Travel to client sites is frequent, and compensation aligns with the posted pay range of $30–$35 per hour.

As a Tax Intern, you will:

What you bring to the role:

• Juniors or seniors enrolled in an accredited accounting or related program, two years from graduation
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel

Individual salaries within this range are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education, knowledge, skills, and geographic location.

$30.00 - 35.00
