Interns will lead a semester-long design initiative across domains like robotic coating, 3D printing, heavy machining, and large-scale assembly, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship from experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in engineering with May 2027 graduation or later.
• Ability to read and interpret industry reports and technical journals.
• Ability to make judgments based on material specifications or technical requirements.
• Strong PC skills including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and graphics/drawings.

Responsibilities

• Build foundational knowledge of gas turbine sub-assemblies, measurements, drawings, and standards.
• Support manufacturing floor operations by developing and testing improvement initiatives.
• Lead and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
• Interpret technical reports and work instructions with accuracy.
• Document quality processes and engineering drawings to support manufacturing needs.
