Job summary

The Eaton IS AER FMC division is seeking a Co-op: Design Engineer for Spring 2027 in the United States. The hourly wage ranges from $22.15 to $27.69, reflecting candidate skills and experience.

You will assist design engineers and operations staff in planning, machining, assembling and testing hydraulic components and systems for aerospace and military applications, with cross-functional interaction across quality, procurement, and design.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior or have a bachelor's degree in industrial or mechanical engineering.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be geographically flexible to relocate within the United States.
• ITAR requires U.S. person status.

Responsibilities

• Assist design engineers and operations by planning, machining, assembling and testing hydraulic components.
• Collaborate with quality, procurement and design teams.
• Design and model machining and assembly fixtures and cutting tools.
• Operate and maintain 3D printers.
• Prepare monthly performance reports via ERP and Access databases.
• Support production process development via Computer Aided Process Planning.
