Job summary

ANDRITZ in Neenah, WI is seeking a dis-assembler to repair and service spreader rolls in alignment with company goals. You will work from verbal instructions, demonstrate mechanical aptitude, and contribute to a collaborative, safety‑minded team environment.

The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs, using measuring devices, disassembling parts with hand tools, and operating overhead cranes and forklifts. On‑the‑job training is provided; HS diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hands-on assembly experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and paperwork processing.

Responsibilities

• Lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Push, pull, bend and squat.
• Disassemble and clean parts using hand tools.
• Operate hand tools, wrenches, wire cutters, screwdrivers, air drills, sanders and grinders.
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other lifting devices.
• Disassemble components based on diagrams and instructions.
• Stand and be on your feet the majority of the work day.

Job description

Reporting to the Plant Superintendent, the dis-assembler is responsible for the repair/service of spreader rolls in accordance with company business goals. Demonstrate interpersonal skills that are supportive of a collaborative work environment, work from verbal instructions, not afraid of heights, good mechanical aptitude.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

Ability to:

• Repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Repeatedly push, pull, bend and squat
• Handle and use measuring devices such as measuring tapes, calipers, and micrometers.
• Dissassemble and clean parts using a variety of hand tools and cleaning solutions.
• Operate a variety of hand tools, wrenches, wire cutter, screwdrivers, as well as using air drills, sanders and grinders.
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other lifting devices.
• Disassemble componants based on diagrams and instructions.
• Stand and be on your feet the majority of the work day.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred Experience: Hands on experience with assembly, basic mechamnical aptitude, and general problem solving knowledge.
• Experience: On the job training will be provided. Other combinations of experience and education that meet requirements may be substituted. Posses basic computer skills and ability to accurately complete and process paperwork.
