Qualifications

• Experience operating light to heavy vehicles and equipment like trucks, sprayers, and spreaders.
• Knowledge of industry practices and regulatory rules for chemical and fertilizer applications.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare cost estimates.
• Capable of working in harsh weather and performing mitigation in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform weed control and fertilization procedures, including inspections and maintenance.
• Operate vehicles and tools for application of herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, and fertilizers.
• Apply chemicals in line with industry practices and regulatory rules.
• Keep facilities and equipment clean and manage inventory of materials.
• Maintain accurate records of chemicals and biological agents used.
• Evaluate and prepare cost estimates for projects.
• Ensure safe use and disposal of chemicals and products.
• Inspect completed work and procure parts and equipment as needed.
• Adhere to company policies for safety in all tasks.
• Be prepared to work in harsh weather and support emergency mitigation.
