Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a dedicated team member to apply chemicals, pesticides, and fertilizers on golf courses or outdoor landscapes. This role supports aerifications, seed applications, and topdressing tasks in varying outdoor conditions.

The ideal candidate has prior experience with chemical spray applications, a turf-science background, and a pesticide applicator license or the ability to obtain one within six months. A valid driver’s license is required.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist with aerifications
• Apply seed to designated areas
• Sand topdressing applications

Education And Experience

• Experience with chemical or spray applications
• Chemical fertilization or pesticide industry application experience
• Post-secondary education in turf science or a related field
• Must obtain and maintain a state-sanctioned pesticide applicator license within 6 months of entryinto this job
• Maintain a valid Driver’s License
• Strong attention to detail
• Operate efficiently and safely at all times
• Ability to prioritize daily work schedule based on minimal supervision
• Ability to perform other cultural applications on the golf course as needed

Physical Demands/Requirements

• Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds
• Regular exposure to the outside environment, including rain, cold, sun, or night
• Repetitive movement- standing, walking, twisting, turning, bending, squatting, and stooping

Work Environment

• The position primarily works outdoors, exposed to varying temperatures, weather conditions, and noise levels.
