Job summary

Aebi Schmidt in Chilton, WI is seeking a Spray Painter/Parts Washer to maintain surface parts through spray coating. You will operate spray equipment, mix coatings, and ensure color and finish meet specifications in a safe, efficient manner.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts, adjusting spray settings, and cleaning tools and equipment. This on-site role offers a structured manufacturing environment with benefits and room for growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to transport, move or guide parts and racks by hand or with equipment.
• Ability to enter information into a computer system and logs.

Position

Spray Painters/Parts Washer are responsible for spray painting surface maintenance parts.

Responsibilities

• Stirs or shakes coating liquid to mix solution to specified consistency, then pours coating liquid into spray container and connects gun to air hose.


• Turns sprayer valves and nozzle to regulate width and pressure of spray and pulls trigger and directs spray onto work surface to apply prime or finish coat.


• Inspects product before, during, after paint process to ensure specifications are met.


• Cleans spraying equipment with applicable solvent.

Qualifications

• Ability to transport, move or guide parts, subassemblies, or assemblies before, during, or after paint process and to next operation which may include moving racks or carts by hand and the use of material handling equipment such as a forklift or overhead crane.


• Able to enter information into established computer system, production records, logs, time clock, and other forms.
