Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is seeking a CDL A truck driver in Morristown, NJ to transport products to destinations and prepare necessary delivery documentation. The role requires loading, securing cargo, and adhering to DOT guidelines with daily vehicle inspections.

You will coordinate with dispatch, perform pre/post trip checks, and provide professional customer service during deliveries. This position emphasizes safety and reliability in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• CDL A license required.
• Minimum 1 year of truck driving experience.
• Strong safety and compliance mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate company-owned/leased trucks for shipping/receiving.
• Deliver and pick up according to dispatch schedule.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and file reports.
• Provide professional customer service during delivery/pickup.
• Maintain DOT/OSHA certifications and safety programs.
• Protect company property and operate equipment in good condition.
• Other duties as assigned based on business needs.
• Live-on-road experience with driver trainer.
• Cargo securement as required.
• Real-time ELD usage.

Job Summary

Operates a truck transporting product to and from specified destinations. Prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick-up of goods to ensure timely service. Loads, secures, and unloads cargo as needed. Maintains contact with dispatch and receives instructions for scheduled delivery or pick-up. Follow and abide by all DOT guidelines according to federal and state regulations. Responsible daily for vehicle inspection pre and post trip.

Job Responsibilities

• Operates company-owned and leased trucks to facilitate shipping and receiving operations.
• Operates trucks for the delivery, pickup based on schedule set forth by dispatch.
• Performs pre and post trip inspections and provides required reports.
• Provides professional customer service during delivery and pick up operations.
• Maintains all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.
• Maintain and protect all company property in excellent working condition.
• Other duties as assigned or deemed necessary determined based on the needs of the business
• Live on road experience with driver trainer

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a CDL A and at least 1 years of experience as a CDL A truck driver
• CDL license required
• Lifting up to 50lbs
