Job summary

Shaw Industries seeks a Spotter Driver/Forklift Operator for the 3rd shift in Orlando, FL. You will position trailers at dock doors, and move carpet from trailers to storage and to Shaw trucks for shipping using powered equipment.

Requirements include reading/writing skills, English language proficiency per DOT, ability to pass a DOT physical, and a minimum age of 21. This is a fulltime, night shift role with competitive hourly pay.

Responsibilities

• Position trailers to specified dock doors or parking area for loading/unloading.
• Transport carpet from trailers to storage locations and to Shaw trucks for shipping.
• Move goods using powered industrial vehicles as part of loading and unloading operations.
• Maintain safe, orderly work area and comply with company policies.

Position Overview:

To position trailers to specified dock doors or parking area for loading and unloading of trailers. Also, transport carpet from trailers to storage location's, and from storage locations to the customer or Shaw trucks for shipping utilizing powered industrial vehicles.

Requirements:

• Must be able to read, write, and effectively communicate.
• Able to communicate and understand the English language per DOT requirements.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

This position is located and works out of Orlando, FL $23.64 Per Hour Mon-Fri: 10:00 pm to 6:00 am

Work Shift

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to out-punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts PM
