Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) in Waco, TX is seeking a Class A CDL truck driver to join our team. This hourly position focuses on safety, on-time delivery, and reliable operation of trailer movements between staging, docks, and yard areas.

Formación

• Qualified candidates must be over age 21 with six months driving experience after graduating from driving school or one year over the road.
• Requires a Class A CDL and a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• The successful candidate will be dependable, safety conscious, have consistent on-time performance, strong customer service skills, and the ability to follow instructions.

Responsabilidades

• Move empty trailers from trailer staging areas to loading docks and back to loaded trailer area.
• Inspect trailers for safety and cleanliness and organize loads to insure no service failures to the customer.
• Maintain accurate paperwork, clean truck dock and truck yard when time allows, and perform other duties as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include moving empty trailers from the trailer staging areas.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Hourly rate: $24.72/hr.
• Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision - and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.
• Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions.
