ERGOMET INC PRECISION SHEET METAL MFG CO is seeking a skilled Spot Welder to join our fabrication team in Ward Hill, MA. You will interpret blueprints and drawings to accurately spot weld metal components, an essential part of our fabrication process to meet customer drawings.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with proven spot welding experience, capable of reading technical documents, and able to operate Amada spot welders and precision measurement tools.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Experience in spot welding or willingness to train.
• Familiarity with spot welding equipment and measurement tools.
• Commitment to health and safety guidelines.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Spot Welder to join our team. In this position, you will interpret blueprints and drawings to accurately spot weld metal components together. This is an integral part of the our fabrication process, as it provides an important roll in meeting customer drawings. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with great attention to detail and proven experience as a job shop enviroment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
• Plan layout and measurements of structural components
• Interpret requirements to select the most appropriate spot welding tools for the job
• Operate Amada Spot welders, use of calipers, rulers, and other hand and power tools
• Use Spot welding equipment

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Spot Welding / Welding
• Experience in Spot Welding is preferred but can also train
• Experience with a variety of welding equipment and tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents and drawings
• Understanding of all health and safety guidelines
• Attention to detail
