Job summary

Fargo Park District is hiring outdoor maintenance staff to care for softball, baseball and soccer fields and related facilities. You will perform tasks such as dragging and chalking infields, hand raking, weed trimming, edging and sodding to keep fields ready for practice and games.

This role requires the ability to lift 50 lbs, a valid driver’s license, and being at least 18 years old. Typical hours are 7:00 am–3:30 pm, Monday–Friday, with 1–2 weekends per month.

Responsibilities

• Dragging, chalking and handraking infields.
• Weed trimming and edging.
• Mound and home plate repair, fertilizing, edging, sodding.

We are looking for individuals who enjoy working outdoors with a main focus on softball, baseball and soccer field maintenance. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to dragging, chalking and handraking infields, weed trimming, mound and home plate repair, fertilizing, edging, sodding, etc. There is also some cleaning of bathrooms and facilities involved. Typical work hours are from 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday, and 1-2 weekends per month are required.
