White Swan Data is seeking a Sports Trader in New York. The role sits in the Operations department and requires trading live markets with day, evening, and weekend shifts aligned to US sporting schedules.

You will contribute to live market execution, monitor performance, and drive process improvements within our in-house trading team. Ideal candidates have a strong analytical mindset, a willingness to work unsociable hours, and a proactive approach to optimise trading models and systems.

Qualificações

• 1+ year of experience as a sports trader.
• BSc in Mathematics or a related quantitative discipline is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and patterns.
• Strong work ethic and results-driven in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly and execute instructions precisely.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and operate the trading systems to maximise volume of trades and hit target metrics.
• Monitor live markets and trading activity to identify patterns and opportunities for strategy optimisation.
• Provide real-time feedback to developers and quants to improve models and execution.
• Collaborate with operations to streamline the end-to-end trading pipeline.
• Troubleshoot problems quickly to minimise downtime and risk.
