The YMCA Bay City is seeking a part-time Sports Staff member to assist the Sports Director in organizing and facilitating sports leagues and clinics. You will support game management, promote programs, and ensure excellent member service in a fast-paced community setting.

Flexible evening and weekend hours are required. A background in sports and CPR/AED certification are preferred, with a friendly, professional presence and strong team communication essential for success.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and energetic with the ability to take initiative.
• Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
• Background in multiple sports preferred.
• Red Cross CPR/AED certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Sports Director in the organization, promotion, and coordination of sports leagues, practices, and clinics.
• Oversee scheduled games and assist with any operational needs.
• Maintain strong communication with staff, parents, volunteers, coaches, and referees.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to all Y members, guests, and community partners.
• Present a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
• Promote YMCA policies and procedures to employees, volunteers, members, and prospective members.
• Promote the mission and core values of the YMCA on a daily basis.
• Help to maintain a safe, clean, and organized facility.
• Some evening and weekend hours will be required.
