Job summary

Soccer Shots Long Island West is seeking an energetic recruiter to help hire and support the coaches delivering our programs. If you have a background in sports, coaching, or working with children, we’ll teach you HR basics.

This is a full-time, on-site role in Farmingdale, NY. You’ll recruit through colleges and networks, conduct screens, coordinate onboarding and background checks, and maintain recruiting records.

Qualifications

• Experience recruiting coaches through colleges, universities, athletic departments, and local networks.
• Passion for youth sports and ability to relate to coaches and families.
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with background checks and onboarding is a plus but not required.

Salary: Up to $55,000 per year | Full-time, on-site
Soccer Shots is the #1 children's soccer enrichment program on Long Island, partnering with 100+ schools to help children build confidence, coordination, teamwork, and soccer skills through fun, age-appropriate programs.
We're looking for an energetic, organized, and people-oriented person to help recruit, hire, and support the coaches who deliver our programs. You do not need HR experience—we'll teach you that. If you have a background in sports, coaching, college athletics, or working with children, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

• Recruit coaches through colleges, universities, athletic departments, and local networks.

We're Looking For Someone Who Is

• A former college athlete, coach, assistant coach, or athletic department staff member.
• Experienced in youth sports, camps, childcare, recreation, or after-school programs.
• Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable learning new software and systems.

Previous recruiting or HR experience is a plus, but not required.
