Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital, Inc. seeks a part-time outpatient sports medicine rehab aide to support the pediatric therapy program. You will assist clinicians, prepare treatment areas, stock supplies, and provide clerical support as directed by licensed staff.

Responsibilities include setting up treatment sessions, assisting with modalities and devices, maintaining equipment, answering phones, scheduling, and processing payments. BLS certification and healthcare exposure are valued.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a health care setting or health vocational program.
• At least 1 year of prior involvement in youth athletics, ages 7-18.
• American Heart Association’s BLS certification prior to start date (Required).
• Technician certificate options and fingerprint clearance may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares treatment area, equipment, and patients for treatment sessions.
• Escorts patients, assists with modalities and routine therapy tasks under supervision.
• Cleans and maintains treatment areas and clinic equipment; handles clerical duties.
• Administrative support including answering phones, scheduling, and payments.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)

Bachelor’s degree or clinically relevant associate’s degree (Preferred)
