Healthcare Recruitment Counselors is seeking a Sports Medicine Physician for the Baltimore, MD area. This role offers a stable Monday–Friday schedule with no on-call hours and comprehensive benefits.

Ideal candidates will treat musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions, hold an MD/DO, and be board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with a Sports Medicine background. MD license in Maryland required and malpractice history should be favorable.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Sports Medicine background and knowledge of musculoskeletal conditions.
• Active, unrestricted Maryland medical license.
• Favorable malpractice history.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial consultations and follow-up visits.
• Evaluate and manage musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and sports-related conditions.
• Order and review diagnostic imaging, labs, and other testing.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Coordinate in-house therapies and referrals.
• Assist patients with safe return to work and activity.
• Collaborate with physicians and rehabilitation providers.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation.

Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician with a Sports Medicine background to join our established multidisciplinary practice in the Greater Baltimore area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who enjoys treating musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions and wants a predictable schedule with no call and no weekends.

The physician will provide coverage at offices in Lutherville, Columbia, Dundalk, and Glen Burnie, MD.
