The YMCA of San Diego County is seeking a Sports Instructor to organize and operate safe, engaging sports programs for youth and adults at the Dan McKinney Family YMCA in La Jolla. The role includes planning practices, clinics, and games, and leading on-site activities with an emphasis on safety and teamwork.
You will prepare facilities, maintain equipment, track attendance, and communicate effectively with staff, volunteers, parents, and participants, while upholding YMCA values and standards.
The Sports Instructor ensures an organized, safe, and impactful sports program operation for all participants. The Instructor will assist with the planning, leading, and supervision of youth and adult sports including practices, clinics, and games.
