Job summary

Oasis Sports Complex is looking for energetic Sports Instructors to join our Player Development team in Marion, IL. You will lead private lessons, small-group sessions, and clinics to help athletes grow.

You’ll design plans, give constructive feedback, and communicate progress with parents. You should bring 1–2 years of coaching experience at college, pro, or elite youth levels, plus First Aid/ CPR/ AED certification or willingness to obtain it within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching at collegiate, professional, or elite varsity or travel level.
• 1–2 years hands-on coaching experience.
• First Aid, CPR, and AED certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Knowledge of sport-specific techniques and training methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead one-on-one lessons, small-group training, and sports clinics.
• Teach sport-specific fundamentals, techniques, position skills, game awareness, and conditioning.
• Create structured training plans tailored to each athlete’s abilities and goals.
• Provide positive, constructive feedback that helps athletes build skills and confidence.
• Communicate with parents about athlete progress and development goals.
• Set up and break down training stations throughout the facility.
• Follow and reinforce all facility and equipment safety standards.
• Maintain a reliable Monday–Thursday instructional schedule.

Do you love helping young athletes grow in confidence, sharpen their skills, and reach their goals? Oasis Sports Complex is looking for energetic, experienced Sports Instructors to join our Player Development team!

In this role, you’ll work with athletes of varying skill levels—from beginners learning the fundamentals to competitive high school athletes preparing for their next challenge. Through private lessons, small-group sessions, and clinics, you’ll have the opportunity to share your knowledge and make a meaningful difference in each athlete’s development.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Experience competing at the collegiate, professional, or elite varsity or travel level in basketball, baseball, softball, or soccer.
• At least 1–2 years of hands-on experience coaching, teaching at sports camps, or providing private athletic instruction.
• Strong knowledge of sport-specific techniques, athletic movement, and training methods.
• A positive, encouraging approach to working with youth athletes and their families.
• Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certification, or willingness to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Experience teaching multiple sports or coursework in kinesiology, physical education, or sports management is a plus!
