Title: Sports Information & Operations Coordinator
Reports to: Director of Athletics & Operations
Work Year: 12 months (Exempt)
Position Focus: The Sports Information & Operations Coordinator is a key leadership position which plays a vital role in supporting both athletics & operations by managing athletic communications, eligibility systems, campus event operations, and operations administrative functions. This position ensures excellence in organization, promotion, and execution of all athletic & operations programs while helping create a first-class experience for student-athletes, coaches, and serving the Lancer school community.

Key Responsibilities
Athletic Communications & Media
- Serve as the primary liaison with the school’s media partner (Digital Lightbridge) to ensure the athletic website is accurate, current, and regularly updated.
- Coordinate the creation and production of seasonal athletic programs (fall and spring sports).
- Create and publish a weekly "Athlete of the Week" spotlight across all school social media platforms.
- Write and distribute a weekly athletic recap highlighting results and key performances.
- Assist with broadcasting efforts, including CCSN and NFHS Network live streams.
- Create and manage live stream links for athletic events.
Photography, Branding & Promotions
- Coordinate with CADY for team, individual, and senior banner photography across all seasons.
- Work with printing vendors to produce and display senior banners in a timely manner.
- Ensure consistent branding and promotion of athletic programs.
Athletic Eligibility & Compliance
- Collect and organize all required student-athlete paperwork.
- Maintain accurate rosters in:
- Home Campus (FHSAA)
- Bound (SSAA)
- Monitor eligibility status and communicate updates to the Director of Athletics & Operations.
- Check Home Campus daily for important updates and compliance needs.
Game & Event Operations
- Assist in planning and executing seasonal sports awards nights, including senior pre-award dinners.
- Help coordinate and execute athletic events, including setup and breakdown.
- Operate scoreboard and provide game‑day announcing as needed.
- Greet visiting teams and officials, providing hospitality and logistical support.
- Confirm game officials through Arbiter and relevant associations.
- Ensure athletic facilities (especially the gym) remain organized and game‑ready.
Scheduling, Systems & Ticketing
- Input and maintain schedules in:
- Home Campus (including game contracts)
- Tandem Calendar (including updates and results)
- Create and manage ticketed events through GoFan.
- Input events into Pixellott (or similar system) to ensure games are recorded.
Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support to the Director of Athletics & Operations and coaching staff.
- Assist with major events such as:
- Athletic Hall of Fame ceremony
- Annual golf tournament
- Support day‑to‑day operations of the athletic department.
Additional Responsibilities
- Assist with PE class coverage (LS) as needed.
- Support campus‑wide events when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics & Operations.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in athletic administration, sports information, or event management
- Familiarity with FHSAA Home Campus, Arbiter, GoFan, or similar systems
- Experience with social media management and live streaming platforms
