Job summary

Clear Creek ISD is seeking an Athletic Grounds Worker to assist in maintaining district athletic fields and synthetic grass under the supervision of the Athletic Field Supervisor. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance and adherence to safety protocols.

The role requires punctuality, ability to follow written and oral instructions in English, and competent operation of ground maintenance equipment. Texas driver’s license and clean MVR may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; valid Texas driver’s license.
• MVR driving record must meet CCISD insurance requirements.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain district athletic fields and synthetic grass as directed.
• Trim, prune, and remove trees to promote growth.
• Apply pesticides and follow safety instructions for chemical use.
• Operate hand and power tools for field maintenance.
• Report hazardous conditions to supervisor and coordinate with staff.
