Job summary

Lakeshore Sport & Fitness is offering a Sports Management Internship in downtown Chicago. You will support day-to-day operations for club and community events, focusing on customer service and event execution.

The role requires evening/weekend availability and a background in sports management or marketing. Approximately 25 of 40 hours are paid at an hourly rate, with the remaining 15 hours unpaid for administration and project tasks.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in sports management, recreation, marketing, or related field.
• Willing to work 40 hours per week.
• Evening and weekend hours required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as team leader for events, camps, and rentals on the day of activity.
• Assist in planning and booking summer camps, rentals, and events; provide excellent customer service.
• Manage event supplies and equipment inventory; inspect for defects and ease of use.
