Job summary

NBCUniversal’s NBC Sports Bay Area & California offers a Summer 2027 Sales & Digital Media Intern position in San Francisco. This hybrid internship focuses on digital advertising, sales planning, and campaign insights, with hands-on exposure to live campaigns and revenue-driving projects.

You will assist with sales orders, campaign health reporting, and sponsorship recaps, while collaborating across Sales Marketing, Sports Partnerships, and Digital Editorial.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a degree program during the entire internship.
• Sophomore or above (30+ credits) required.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Available 16–24 hours per week from June 7–Aug 13, 2027.
• Willing to work in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities

• Prepare digital advertising analytics reports and campaign screenshots.
• Monitor and report deal health and performance for programmatic ads.
• Create campaign recaps and support optimization efforts.
• Maintain sales databases with schedules, contacts, rate cards, and specs.
• Support Social-First strategies with Sales Marketing, Sports Partnerships, and Digital Editorial.
• Attend sales-adjacent meetings and take notes.
• Complete a final project: media plan and marketing proposal for a Bay Area advertiser in AI or related category.
