Job summary

Elevo is seeking an after‑school coach to lead K–8 students through structured activities using Elevo’s SEL curriculum. Schedule: Mon–Thu 3:15pm–5:45pm; Start 08/24/2026, End 04/08/2027. Pay: $20/hour. Eligible to work in the U.S. and pass Live Scan/TB checks required.

You will collaborate with school staff and other coaches to foster student well‑being, build confidence and social skills, and create a welcoming program environment. Elevo offers paid training and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching or leading youth in sports or education.
• Ability to manage groups up to 20 students.
• Energetic, positive role model with calm behavior.
• Willingness to complete background check and TB screening.

As an Elevo Coach, you will

About You

• Experience coaching, playing sports, working in education, or leading youth in any setting (e.g., camp counseling, youth programs, childcare).
• Lead by example as a confident, positive role model students want to follow.
• Bring energy and presence that holds a group of up to 20 students’ attention.
• Stay calm and empathetic when managing behavior or redirecting a tough moment.
• Build trust quickly with students, families, and school staff.
• Run activities on time and adapt on the fly when plans shift.
• Collaborate with fellow coaches and school partners.
• Motivated by Elevo’s mission to support student well‑being.

Additional Requirements

• Eligible to work in the U.S.; pass Live Scan background check and TB screening.
• 18+ with high school diploma or GED.

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to engage in the following activities with or without a reasonable accommodation:
