Job summary

Mount Olympus Rips is seeking a high-energy Live Sports Card Breaker and Whatnot host to entertain collectors and run engaging live breaks on Whatnot, TikTok Live, Twitch, and YouTube. You’ll thrive by building audience engagement and delivering memorable on-screen performances.

You could be the face of a growing channel, with a backend team handling fulfillment so you can focus on the show and interaction with collectors.

Qualifications

• Genuine knowledge of the sports card hobby.
• Strong understanding of NFL, NBA and MLB players.
• Familiarity with Whatnot, hobby boxes, breakers, products, parallels, inserts, rookies, prospects, autos, and chase cards.
• Confident and engaging on-camera personality.
• Ability to speak live for hours without losing energy.
• Ability to eliminate dead air and keep viewers entertained.
• Experience with Whatnot, TikTok Live, Twitch, YouTube, podcasting, broadcasting, sales, content creation, or live auctions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Host live sports card breaks on Whatnot.
• Run hobby box, case, PYT, random team, and personal breaks.
• Keep the room alive with sports talk, hobby knowledge, humor, and interaction.
• Create excitement around 1-of-1s, RPAs, autos, SSPs, Downtowns, Kabooms, Color Blasts, numbered parallels, and case hits.
• Welcome buyers, engage chat, answer questions, and build relationships with repeat customers.
• Create memorable reactions and moments viewers want to clip and share.
• Stay current on Topps, Panini, Bowman, Fanatics, rookies, prospects, new releases, and hobby trends.
• Know the players and storylines across NFL, NBA, MLB and NCAA.
• Focus entirely on hosting while our team handles sorting, packing, shipping, and fulfillment.

Location: Plymouth, MN (100% On-Site)

Schedule: Evening/Night Shift | 5:30 PM-2:00 AM

Compensation: $50/hour + Tips | Top hosts run 6-8 breaks per night | Top performers earn $100,000+ annually
