Job summary

Stan’s Merry Mart is seeking a Sporting Goods Sales Associate to manage the sporting goods department, drive sales and uphold safety and compliance standards, including firearm paperwork.

You will work closely with teammates to deliver outstanding service, assist customers in locating merchandise, maintain store appearance and inventory, and support department leadership with daily tasks.

Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, are required to meet customers' needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Must be 21+ to sell firearms and complete related paperwork.
• Prior firearm handling experience and safe handling emphasized.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with special orders and locate merchandise.
• Promote outstanding customer service as the department and store priority.
• Accurately complete firearm paperwork with customers.
• Maintain awareness of promotions and store policies.
• Participate in inventory counts and backstock organization.
• Contribute to daily huddle meetings and department goals.
• Uphold safety and housekeeping standards.
