Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University’s Center for Sport Leadership seeks applicants on an ongoing basis to teach courses in the Sports Leadership Master’s program. This pool is accessed only when an opening arises, with opportunities to teach in person in Richmond, Virginia, or online via synchronous Zoom.

Duties include meeting course guidelines, grading, responding to student inquiries within 24 hours, and submitting final grades per School policy.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in sport management or related field.
• Experience teaching or working with students.
• Work experience related to the course topic.
• Commitment to fostering an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Meet all designated course instruction guidelines.
• Grade assignments and exams in a timely manner based on rubric.
• Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours.
• Submit final grades according to School policy.
