Job summary

The Sport Instructor at i9 Sports leads athletes on the field and delivers expert instruction in the designated sport, driving a positive youth sports culture and the i9 Sports Experience.

You will run practice sessions focused on fundamentals and fun, demonstrate core sportsmanship values, and relay game-day information to players and parents, while delivering friendly, high-quality customer service throughout the season.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience coaching sport-specific activities.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
• Willing to work weekends/evenings for the season (~7 weeks).

Job Summary

The Sport Instructor is a hands‑on position that will lead athletes and provides expert instruction in their designated sport. The Sport Instructor is directly responsible for providing the i9 Sports Experience and driving a positive youth sports culture on the field.

Responsibilities

• Lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
• Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
• With the help of established platforms, communicate game day information to players and parents
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge
• Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently
• Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings (for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks)
